My research interests lie in Industrial Engineering and applied Operations Research, with a primary focus on sustainable and socially responsible operations systems. I develop optimization and data-driven decision-support methodologies for sustainable supply chain design, sustainable logistics, and Industry 4.0-enabled manufacturing systems. Current research projects include sustainable food distribution, closed-loop supply chain network design, urban freight transportation, and equitable logistics systems that promote stakeholder well-being through improved access to fresh food, reduced environmental and social burdens on affected communities, and more inclusive freight transport systems. I am also interested in how circular economy practices, digital transformation, organizational culture, and project management contribute to sustainable supply chain development and long-term competitiveness in manufacturing industries.
