The PLOs are communicated to the stakeholders, including current students, academic staff, support staff, employers of LSCSE graduates and targeted undergraduate students.
The PLOs are explained to all new LSCSE students during the orientation event at the beginning of the semester when they enter the programme. Following TU’s policy, the LSCSE support staff and academic staff include the PLOs in the syllabus of all courses and explain the PLOs and course learning outcomes (CLOs) to students in the first session of each course.
The PLOs are as well communicated to targeted undergraduate students during LSCSE Promotion, SIIT Open House, visits, workshop, and application process for admission to SIIT. The PLOs are formally reviewed by the SIIT Executive Committee (consisting of SIIT Director, Deputy Directors, Heads of Schools, all programme Chairpersons), the SIIT Academic Committee, Thammasat University, and through stakeholder feedback and assessment results to ensure alignment TU and SIIT vision and mission, and alignment with Bloom’s taxonomy. Based on the review findings, the PLOs are refined and updated through curriculum improvement processes to maintain their relevance and effectiveness.
